Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila, Manila, Philippines

Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila, Manila, Philippines. Today checkout on the late noon and checkin Sofitel Manila located at Barangay 1, Ccp Complex Roxas Boulevard, Pasay – Manila, 1099 Metro Manila,Philippines.

As planned, after a week long stay at Makati, want to access to beach, that is why select this hotel.

I start from Manila Bay, and end on the Manila Bay. First day and last day, the two hotel shared one thing in common – Manila Bay view.

Upon checkin from the lounge, since the room book with executive lounge access, we have a snack time, follow with explore the hotel facilities.

The executive lounge here called Club Millésime,  with an elegant reception area, private library lounge, wine cellar and intimate meeting spaces for luxury club floor guests.

Sofitel Manila is a five star luxury resort hotel near Mall of Asia, Intramuros, US Embassy, Manila Ocean Park and major shopping centers in Manila. The hotel opened in 1976, it is a structural masterpiece created by National Artist for Architecture Leandro Locsin, while the hotel’s grounds, resort pool and gardens were designed by Ildefonso P. Santos, another National Artist. Minimalist interiors, breathtaking views and traditional touches of local décor using capiz shells and coconut inlay make the muted elegance and luxurious detail of the famous hotel by the bay a sight to behold.

Evening cocktail at lounge, follow with saw the Manila Bay dusk moment.

Sofitel lagoon-shaped swimming pool in turquoise waters just next to bay offer nice Manila Bay view. Be note that this area do not have beach, that is why I said Manila Bay view.

Night saw the firework from hotel windows. This is second time saw the firework. The week back when arrival stay near Manila Bay, saw it too.
