Each region of Japan had it unique offering and for Hokuriku region, first traditional dance in mind, Owara Kaze No Bon (おわら風の盆) at Yatsuo, Toyama, Japan. Kaze no Bon (風の盆) is a Japanese festival held every year from September 1 to 3 in Yatsuo, Toyama, Japan. Kaze-no-Bon literally translates to “Bon Dance of the Wind.”
In the Japan Chubu (中部) region, one dish in mind, that Takayama (高山) Hida Beef (飛騨牛). Type of Wagyu (和牛). Japan has a global reputation for magnificently tender and high quality Wagyu beef, at least three times more compare with Western countries best beef offer. So traveling Japan, obviously should no be miss the opportunities
First thing in my mind when travel Hokuriku region (北陆) is crab (kani in Japanese). The three prefectures of Toyama, Ishikawa and Fukui are collectively called Hokuriku region and this area faces the Sea of Japan, so it is famous for delicious crabs. Crab dishes different from place to place, but in general follow season.
