Traveling the world

Traveling the world, just like everyone who once started traveling and fell in passion to do it, the more countries you go, the more you find the trips taken are not enough. So do I, from traveling, pick up travel photography, local literature, culture, music, film and TV shows to enjoy the local festival and event.

It helps to open my mind and let myself know that the world has so many different ways of life, living and values something different than what I have. COVID-19 Pandemic, will be the division line, before that I travelled and visited 60 countries so fall, see the below. Then COVID-19 pandemic started, and traveling got to hold, and suddenly I spent more time at home than before. I picked up handwriting journaling, which I hadn’t done for a long time. Reading via tablet, I acquired the long reading with tablet, which in the past I never was doing so for some huge volume of book reading in the digital reading manner, from my bed or sofa time.

I think maybe it is a good time to digest all the trip and try to write it down for the unforgivable trip and event, it is part of my life. Taking photos and recording video is different, it is more passive, since I just need to react to the scene encounter. But for writing, it is more active. I need to see and filter what I want to write, how to write, which part of the journey, and how to tell it in writing, in another word, travel writing. Maybe it would be a good choice for me to write it down, describe it and without base on the photo or video, as a way to record my travel thoughts and memories this way.

Not sure what I will end up with my own travel writing for, but it must start somewhere, for me to pick an area to write, so I can jump start it.

It always relative, based on where you stay, so do the travel density it will be, or based on the culture you are in, so do you are more likely to explore other.

  • Africa, for the most part, I consider untap, maybe I will take one trip in southern Africa and nearby countries for waterfall and Africa safari and see the Great Animal Migration.
  • Central and South America, practically untap land for me, something in mind, Havana of Cuba. Mexico pyramid, Brazil and Argentina.
  • The extreme of North Pole and South Antarctic.

Maybe more will come as I live and travel, the more I know what else I want to experience in my life.
